The Alice Lake campground is around 12 kilometers north of Squamish along Highway 99 and approximately 50 kilometers south of Whistler on Highway 99. The Alice Lake Provincial Park is clearly signposted along the highway and once off the highway, follow the signs for either the campground or day use areas.
8 de jun. de 2020 · As such, get an early start for the best chance at snagging a spot. The main lot has direct access to The Pettit Creek Trail which is the trail to Alice Lake. It starts at the Tin Cup Hiker Trailhead signage near the pit toilets. If the trailhead lot is full, an overflow parking lot is only 1/4 mile back along the road.
There are two trailheads you can use to start your backpacking loop of Alice and Toxaway Lake. We set off from Yellowbelly Trailhead, but it is more popular to begin at Tin Cup Trailhead near Pettit Lake. Alice Lake is a moderate- to expert-level hike in the Sawtooth Mountains. Near Stanley, Idaho and Redfish Lake, the Alice Lake hike is best used from June to October, and if you travel outside of that you will likely develop a treacherous path and a bunch of snow. The trailhead to Alice Lake is located about 3.5 hours from Boise.
