De London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is een toonaangevende toneelschool in West-Londen die werd opgericht in 1861. History. The London Academy of Music was established by Henry Wylde in 1861 in St. James's Hall; there were separate sections for men and women. [17] [18] Teaching began on 15 November 1861, at which time the cost per annum was 15 guineas, or £15 15s 0d.
