Not to say he doesn't throw in a few surprises throughout, of course. The beat switchups/dropouts at the end of "Bad Azz" kinda stunned me. As a west coast hip hop nerd from a young age, it's a real treat to hear Quik and MC Eiht finally collabo so many years after Quik dropped one of the best and most vicious diss tracks in history on him.
