Marcella Detroit, aka Marcy Levy, born and bred in Detroit, Michigan, has been involved in music her entire life. One of her earliest gigs found her opening for David Bowie! A few years later she was touring and recording with Eric Clapton, cowriting one of his biggest hits, "Lay Down Sally" and several of his most popular album tracks including "The Core", "Promises" and "Tangled in Love".
