Stylistically, the album is by far the most polished and jangly of the church's discography, but still feels organic. The songs are rooted in the signature Koppes/Marty Wilson-Piper guitar interplay, with most tracks including small sections of horns, strings, or other arrangements varying from the standard rock band lineup.
