Students across KS3 and KS4 are taught in sets which allows students to access the Maths curriculum at an appropriate level. Our curriculum is ambitious and all students are taught the same topic blocks throughout their time at Hilbre. Students are assessed half termly to ensure that they are progressing successfully. As your child/ward starts at Hilbre High School in September 2017, we write to advise you that there has been a change to the timing of the school lunch and the end of the school day. The Governors have agreed, with effect from September 2017, that the school lunch period will be 40 minutes long, ie. commencing at 1.30pm and finishing at 2.10pm.
At Hilbre High School, you will find an 11-18 academy with just over one thousand students on roll. We are an academy which genuinely welcomes people into a partnership with a shared aim; to achieve the most we possibly can, both academically and socially for our students.
Facilities Hire. We are delighted to offer our facilities for hire outside school hours (6.00pm to 9.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday) .
