Released February, 1992, the "Dixie-Narco EP" was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis, and allowed Primal Scream to indulge their love of U.S. music history. Lead track "Movin' On Up" is the group's gospel-tinged attempt to recreate the Rolling Stones' sound circa the album "Exile On Main Street", but updated for the post-acidhouse generation.
