Ensuring that talented and academically gifted girls from all backgrounds have access to education at Notting Hill & Ealing High School is integral to the school’s vision and ethos. Our alumnae are considered to be life-long members of the NHEHS community and we hope you will find a way to support our 150th vision to increase bursaries.
Teaching at Notting Hill & Ealing aims to give every student enthusiasm and confidence in their different subjects, both inside and outside the classroom. Public examination results are of course important for supporting future ambitions, but our teaching is about so much more: in fact, it is through teaching which encourages confidence and academic flair as an end in itself that girls do so well.
Welcome to our school's archives. A very warm welcome to the NHEHS Digital Archive. Any archive is a continual work in progress and we are still near the beginning of cataloguing and digitising our collection. We have begun with photographs and school magazines as these provide some of the most engaging content.
We know bursaries change lives and benefit the whole school community. Bursaries are available at both 11+ and 16+. We want to offer the brightest students the chance of joining our community regardless of their parents’ ability to pay school fees, so we encourage you to apply for one of our means tested bursaries in the Senior School on entry to Year 7 and the Sixth Form.
The table below features the GCSE league table results of the top UK independent schools published by The Telegraph. The rankings are based on the percentage of A*-A or 9-7 grades achieved by students who took GCSEs in 2022.
5 de dic. de 2022 · It's a mile from the tube (a 15-20min walk) which means that, realistically, unless you're local, it's probably not going to be high on your wishlist. It's quite a lot smaller than the other indie girls' schools (600 versus 800 in the senior school) which some might see as a good thing, but equally to some it might not.
