ABOUT: Founded in 1818 in Winnetka on the banks of Lake Michigan, “Pair of Ducks Theatre Works” remained relatively unknown until 2020. Founding Artistic Director, Perry Docks, pulled together a collection of highly creative and imaginative members of the theatre community spanning a wide variety of different backgrounds, styles, and training.

The Children’s Theatre of Winnetka was founded in 1974 when Community House drama teacher Barbara Weldon and executive director Tom Fritts agreed to develop a theater company exclusively for children. After its first production ( A Christmas Carol in 1975) was a success, the organization grew and continues to put on popular plays today.
