Mel Brooks, oikealta nimeltään Melvin Kaminsky, (s.28. kesäkuuta 1926 Brooklyn, New York) on yhdysvaltalainen koomikko, elokuvaohjaaja, näyttelijä, käsikirjoittaja ja tuottaja.. Brooks aloitti uransa vuonna 1949 televisiokomedioiden käsikirjoittajana. Hän loi vuonna 1965 alkaneen suositun Salainen agentti 86-komediasarjan.Brooks alkoi ohjata elokuvakomedioita 1960-luvun lopulla.
