Aldenham School has announced that from the end of February, St Hilda’s School in Bushey will be part of the Aldenham Foundation of Schools. Under this new arrangement, St Hilda’s will continue to operate as an independent preparatory school for girls aged 3–11, but will now be part of the Aldenham Foundation, which currently educates
Aldenham School is just North West of London and is a traditional independent school in the quiet countryside. Over 400 years ago Queen Elizabeth I herself gave permission for the school to be built. The school mixes tradition with modern facilities and provides the benefits of a countryside campus with easy access to central London, which is less than an hour away on public transport.
These may be awarded for the following; Excellence in one of the main sports (Football, Hockey, Cricket, Netball) A high level of performance in at least two of the main sports. The Minor Sports range from purely recreational offerings in school (such as Volleyball), to those played in House competitions (such as Squash and Badminton) and still others where competition is also arranged against other schools (such as Tennis and Fives). Our teams compete at the top school levels and inter-house competition is just as intense. The school has 9 full sized football pitches, three 9-a-side and three 5-a-side training areas for elite coaching.
