Die Guildhall School of Music and Drama ist eine Musik- und Theaterschule, die 1880 in London gegründet wurde. Die Leitung der Schule hat seit 2017 Lynne Williams inne.
Research at Guildhall School explores fundamental questions about the creative arts. It embraces a wide range of disciplines within music and drama including composition, performance, pedagogy, institution studies, historical musicology, music and literature studies, cultural history, electronic music, creative writing and music therapy.
Offering a wide array of solo, ensemble and accompaniment training, the Keyboard Department is headed by the internationally acclaimed pianist Ronan O’Hora.
Music students may practise in their bedrooms during permitted hours. Local amenities, including supermarkets, bars, restaurants and sports facilities are all within easy walking distance. Two underground stations are within minutes of the residence. Underneath the accommodation is the Basement, which houses the School Bar, a self-serve laundrette, practice rooms and a communal television room.
