21 de oct. de 2006 · The Warning is the band's first full-length album after the initial release of their 4-song self-titled EP. The Warning contains some of the greatest vocal work of the era. The musicianship is simply brilliant. If you're a metalhead and you don't own The Warning, this album is worthy of a home in your collection.
In 1983 verscheen de debuut-ep Queensrÿche, waarvan met name Queen of the Reich en The Lady Wore Black bekendheid kregen. Het eerstgenoemde nummer legde de basis voor de bandnaam. De ep werd gevolgd door het volwaardige album The warning (1984), dat werd geproduceerd door James Guthrie , die ook betrokken was geweest bij de productie van Pink Floyds The Wall .
