Storia. La band nasce nell'ottobre 2006 da una collaborazione tra Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Ronnie James Dio, Bill Ward, cioè la formazione dei Black Sabbath del 1980, propria del disco Heaven and Hell.Nel novembre 2006 Ward abbandonò il gruppo, sostituito da Vinny Appice.Questa è la seconda "reunion" di questa formazione dopo quella per l'album Dehumanizer.
