  2. Born in 1939 in Wisconsin, guitarist Jerry Cole found himself in a musical melting pot environment when his family moved to Chicago, where blues and jazz influenced his playing. Relocating to the West Coast, he toured as a member of the Champs before becoming a key member of the celebrated Wrecking Crew studio players, backing up everyone from Sinatra to the Beach Boys and the Byrds.
