Riverdale Country School is situated on 27.5 acres across two campuses in the Bronx. The trees, play areas, gardens, and outdoor learning spaces enliven the student experience.
Riverdale students are active learners who break down complex problems, ask good questions, evaluate evidence, and develop confidence in their own abilities and talents. The in-depth curriculum and extensive co-curricular programs work together to provide knowledge and experience.
The Riverdale community reaches across generations, continents, cultures, and life experiences. Our youngest members can be found at the Infant and Toddler Center on campus. Our most senior members can still remember Frank S. Hackett, the first head of school (1907-1949).
