10 de jul. de 2022 · The Yardbirds started in the Suburbs of West London in 1963 as many bands of the time played Rhythm and Blues inspired by American blues greats. The first two members of the band were Relf and Samwell-Smith, who went to the same school and started a band named “The Metropolitan Blues Quartet.”
Short-lived but influential, the Yardbirds blazed a trail for new genres and gave some of rock’s best guitarists their start.
