Dennis Miccolis joined the group as keyboard player. "Jon Poulos [drums] and I knew each other from the neighborhood and we were the first in the band," said Tufano. The Pulsations name was retained until the group auditioned for a spot on the "All Time Hits" variety show on local powerhouse television station, WGN-TV.
Dennis Miccolis is an original member of the national recording band The Buckinghams. The promo video was recorded in July of 2014 and shows Dennis singing and playing keyboard to Buckingham Hits.
The original Buckinghams lineup featured Nick Fortune (bass), Carl Giamarese (guitar, vocals), Dennis Miccolis (organ), Jon-Jon Poulos (drums) and Dennis Tufano (guitar, vocals). The Buckinghams’ first 45 was a cover of the Drifters/Searchers’ “Sweet For My Sweet”. Soon after, they were signed to Chicago-based record label, USA Records.
