The Big Boy was built by Alco Locomotive, and the first series of 20 began service in 1941. 5 more joined in 1944. These 25 huge steamers remained active until 1962 and travelled over one million miles each!

This route is recently announced though, and not operational yet. It will start in May 2024. From Hamilton, the only airline with direct flights is Air Transat.
