Hace 3 días · In 1971, Egypt gave one of the temple’s gates to Germany in appreciation for its participation in rescuing the Nubian temples. Since 1977 the gate has been located in the annex of Berlin’s Egyptian Museum. The gate will become the monumental entrance of the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, which is currently under construction.

Hace 2 días · Temples were now houses dedicated to the gods and goddesses. While I was there is saw some historical sites. My favourite sites that I saw were the Great Sphinx, Giza, Abu Simbel Temples and Luxor Temple. The Great Sphinx is a statue of a lion's body and a human head.
