Yungblud se crio en su ciudad natal junto a su madre, Sam Harrison, una ama de casa; y su padre, Justin Harrison, quien es dueño de una tienda de guitarras. Yungblud tiene dos hermanas menores, Jemima Rose Harrison e Isabella Harrison. Su abuelo, Rick Harrison, tocó junto a la agrupación de rock británica T. Rex en la década de 1970.
