Valentine used to be called Valerie, but beyond that, there is little known about her background. She sports a scar on her lips which she acquired before her dalliance with the Last Hope . She joined the Last Hope and was experimented on to augment her strength, so she has ninja-like abilities that make her more powerful than the average human.
