Oliver Twist, o Le avventure di Oliver Twist (titolo orig. Oliver Twist; or, the Parish Boy's Progress ), è un romanzo dello scrittore britannico Charles Dickens, pubblicato a puntate mensili sulla rivista Bentley's Miscellany, dal febbraio 1837 all'aprile 1839, con illustrazioni di George Cruikshank, ma apparso in forma di libro già nel 1838.

Résumé de l’oeuvre. Oliver Twist c’est l’histoire de la vie d’un jeune garçon orphelin de naissance et qui a grandi dans un hospice paroissial. C’est Mr Bumble, le gérant de l’hospice, qui lui a donné son nom et prénom du fait qu’il n’est plus aucune famille. L’histoire se déroule entre février 1837 et avril 1939.
