UNCSA alumnus René Barbera has appeared on the stages of the world's major opera houses and concert halls. The School of Drama at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts trains talented artists to become dynamic, versatile, and accomplished. He leads approximately 1,300 students from high school through graduate school, as well as 700 summer and 500 community school students, and more than 600 faculty and staff.
