Founded in 1909, Lower Canada College is a selective, independent, K through Pre-University (grade 12) day school. For most of its history, LCC has been a boys’ school, with coeducation in Pre-University since 1992. Since September 1995, LCC has been coeducational at all levels. In 2020–2021 girls constitute 43% of the school population.
