The Milgrams' panic increases as their dilemma catastrophically intensifies, but nothing about the film makes that escalation seem believably urgent.

The first half of the movie is a fascinating story, which seems to be both a bit over the top and very realistic. The movie is a horror, sci-fi, mystery hybrid, which works on so many levels for a long time.
