27 de jun. de 2023 · Chocolateyを積極的に選択する意味はあまりなさそうなので、WinGetかScoopでしょうか。 WinGetは普通にインストールしたものもこれでアップデートできたりするので、これはこれで使うのは良さそうです。
Chocolatey has been around for a while, so it has a lot more features and available packages ("apps"), but I expect Winget to catch up on the more important features quickly. I only use it from Powershell, but there's no reason a regular user couldn't just use the GUI. I expect to see a few different GUIs for Winget in the near future.
On my currently computer I am using Chocolatey. But I am thinking about using Winget on my new laptop sense it comes with Windows 11. I heard someone making an outlandish claim that Microsoft messes with 3rd party browsers if you get them from Winget, making it harder to set them as the default. To me this sounds extremely ridiculous.
The general solution, even with chocolatey, is to pin the package to the version and let the auto updater do it's thing. Winget does have pinning now, though I think it might still be in beta. Oh, so this is why Winget wants to Update over 70 programs after I just ran it for the first time.

Another reason for taking the approach of using Chocolatey or WinGet to feed a repackaging effort rather than just allowing them to be the engine for deploying and updating applications in an enterprise is the package format challenge. Most applications are EXEs or MSIs.
