October 6, 2008. A unique document of a full in-concert Clash set, the tapes of this recording were discovered by Strummer during a house move. The band's performance at Shea Stadium was as support act for The Who on the 12th and 13th October 1982. Live at Shea was recorded by Glyn John, who had worked with both The Who and The Clash records.

But The Clash managed something even The Beatles couldn’t. They released a double album that was wholly deserving of its runtime, giving the band a platform to showcase their various influences in one satisfying whole.
