Argentinosaurus is the largest of these based on reasonable evidence, even if it’s fragmentary like the rest. Bruhathkayosaurus’ fossils have disintegrated but it probably was within the same ballpark. The 200 foot giant in Amphicoelias fragillimus got downsized and renamed to Maraapunisaurus.

It was one of the first dinosaurs to be discovered in South America, and its name means “Argentine lizard”. It had a long neck and tail, but also carried armor in the form of osteoderms.
El Argentinosaurus perteneció a esta familia de dinosaurios. Fue posiblemente el más enorme que ha existido, aunque no todos los saurópodos eran tan descomunales. Argentinosaurus meaning "Argentina lizard", was named by paleontologists Coria & José Bonaparte in 1993. It is known from fossilized back vertebrae, tibia, ribs and sacrum, found in Neuquén Province. It may be the largest dinosaur, [1] but its remains are so incomplete that palaeontologists prefer to use Saltasaurus for their calculations.
