1 de nov. de 2004 · One World Deluxe Edition was released 1 November 2004. The first five songs on CD2 are live from Regents Park, London in Summer 1978 the remainder being out-takes from the One World sessions. A very well put together package and very well remastered. The original album was released in November 1977.
The guitar playing was, as usual, immaculate, despite tuning problems and one tongue-in-cheek 'Angie'-style 1 pyrotechnic solo 2, which had him piddling about with his capo on chord changes. Toward the end of the suite Martyn's breathy, scatty singing was increasingly impassioned, and the finale of the Skip James standard 'Rather Be The Devil' was in his own words extremely 'hot and nasty'.
