23 de mar. de 2024 · Berserk kept Gambino, but dropped Donovan for understandable reasons. However, Donovan's absence left Guts' aversion to emotional and physical intimacy unexplained. Another side-effect of Donovan's erasure was that Guts and Casca's first time together wasn't interrupted by Guts strangling Casca because he didn't know how to react to sex.

Yeah, personally the name Donovan immediately brings up the image of the most violent and awful panel in which he appears, which also happens to be one of the most hard to look at panels for me in the manga. I literally cannot associate that image with anything funny, and I wouldn’t want to even if I could.
