Hal B. Wallis, C.B.E., was born, Harold Brent Wallis on 14 September 1899 in Chicago. He died on October 5, 1986. He was an Academy Award-winning American motion picture producer. His family moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1922 where he found work as part of the publicity department at Warner Bros. in 1923.
