Tobin Sprout (Dayton, 28 april 1955) is een Amerikaanse muzikant, grafisch ontwerper en kunstschilder. Hij werd bekend als gitarist en songwriter voor Guided by Voices. In 1996 begon hij zijn solocarrière op te bouwen. Een jaar later verliet hij de band.

Tobin Sprout As a musician, he was well-known as a founding member of the indie rock band Guided by Voices before going out on his own, releasing many solo albums 1996-present. As a visual artist, Tobin is recognized for his photo-realism large format oil paintings, especially the “Superchrome” series, although he does paint in other styles as well.
