Other than her 1966-1967 Columbia singles, this was Hester's most determined effort to crack the pop market. There was a little bit of country music, a little bit of singer/songwriter stuff, and a little bit of MOR pop. And, ultimately, there was not enough of anything to make an impact, although it fell short of being an embarrassment.
