The Soft Boys started as Dennis and the Experts, with Rob Lamb, in 1976, then became the Soft Boys, with Alan Davies, in December 1976. I joined New Year’s Eve 1977, so most of 1977 is missing from the scrapbook! The biggest item is a picture of Elvis Costello’s head, from a review of a Costello gig where we were third on the bill.
