The song “It’s a Beautiful Day Today,” written and sung by Bob Mosley, validates the aforementioned claim. Moby Grape gave this song as a rejuvenation of contentment in an album filled with heartbreak and resignation.

Columbia had poured obscene amounts of money into a disastrous press launch at San Francisco’s Avalon Ballroom, carpeting the venue with orchids and handing out hundreds of bottles of Moby Grape wine.
