The Fugs are an American rock band formed in New York City in late 1964, by the poets Ed Sanders and Tuli Kupferberg, with Ken Weaver on drums. Founded in early 1965, the Fugs have performed and issued albums and CDs for the last 35 years. The Fugs were long active in the anti-war movement, as in the photo above, a big peace parade in the spring of 1966. Allen Ginsberg, not shown, was right next to the Fugs for Peace banner.
