The Waterboy is a sports comedy about a socially stunted man who became a local superstar athlete due to his strength in tackling. This Frank Coraci movie is a time capsule of the 90s, with character designs and juvenile jokes that people might find pathetic or offensive in today’s market (plethora of redneck clichés - something foreigners like me was able to spot).
