Né en 1958, le créateur belge Dries Van Noten appartient à la troisième génération d’une famille de tailleurs d’Anvers. Pendant ses études à la Royal Academy of Fine Arts d’Anvers, il travaille comme styliste indépendant et présente sa première collection de prêt-à-porter à Londres en 1986.
