  7. Carmine Coppola died in Northridge, California in 1991 at the age of 80. His wife, Italia Coppola, died in 2004 in Los Angeles. Both Coppola and his wife are buried at San Fernando Mission Cemetery. Upon his death, Coppola's grandson Robert Schwartzman changed his last name to 'Carmine' in his grandfather's honor.
