30 de jul. de 2011 · Bess Houdini, by all accounts, was as much a go-getter as her husband. She looked after a household filled with pets and family, kept Houdini focused onstage and off, wrangled the assistants for his full evening roadshow, and even made all the costumes.
10 de feb. de 2012 · Bessie's two graves. Tomorrow marks the 69th anniversary of the death of Beatrice "Bess" Houdini on February 11, 1943. She passed away aboard a train bound for New York as it arrived in the town of Needles, CA. For the occasion, I thought I'd take a look at the question of her two gravesites.

Born Wilhelmina Beatrice Rahner, she met an unknown magician named Ehrich Weisz in 1894 who, with his brother Dash, was performing under the name the Houdini Brothers. She was performing a song and dance act as one of the Floral Sisters in Brighton Beach, New York.
