  2. The Kind Diet is a great introductory book to living a vegan lifestyle. It is also a terrific introduction to macrobiotics as most of the recipes appear to be formulated with macrobiotics in mind. I ordered this book before it was available for sale. I received it a year ago and did not even read it.
