23 de sept. de 2021 · Abstract. The development of silicon anodes for lithium-ion batteries has been largely impeded by poor interfacial stability against liquid electrolytes. Here, we enabled the stable operation of a 99.9 weight % microsilicon anode by using the interface passivating properties of sulfide solid electrolytes.

Owing to their excellent carrier mobility, chemical stability, and optoelectronic properties, carbon materials fulfill all of the requirements for solar cell manufacture in combination with silicon.
For example, the structure of diamond, shown in part (a) in Figure 16.5.1 16.5. 1, consists of sp3 hybridized carbon atoms, each bonded to four other carbon atoms in a tetrahedral array to create a giant network.
