Current 6th, 7th and 8th grade students living within Joliet Township High School boundaries can now register for a free summer sports camp. The JTHS All-Sports Summer Camp for junior high students gives your child the opportunity to select and experience 4 sports programs offered at JTHS, allowing them to build athletic skills, meet coaches, and gain exposure to high school athletic programming.
To assist with the transition to high school, ninth grade students enter the Freshman Academy, a small school-within-a-school, that provides a safe and nurturing environment. Freshmen begin the day a period earlier than their upper-class peers which allows them to take an additional elective or receive support in math or reading.
