The following year, Tull toured the United States as part of their 20th anniversary celebration which also included the release of a career-spanning 65-song box set, 20 Years of Jethro Tull. In a surprise upset at the 1989 Grammy Awards, Tull beat out the heavily favored Metallica, winning Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for Crest of a Knave.
