Golden High School is the oldest high school in Colorado, established in 1873. We are a public high school, grades 9-12, with a student enrollment of approximately 1250 for the 2015-2016 school year. Golden High School moved into a new, state of the art building in August of 2008. Golden is accredited by the Colorado State Department of Education.

Our faculty and staff pride ourselves on our programming to meet the needs of all of our students. We believe that students need to be supported and pushed academically.
