In Limbo is a six-track disc with an all-star supporting crew that includes Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth and former Contortion/Bush Tetra Pat Place. With snail’s- pace tempos, Moore’s shards of acrid, harsh guitar and Lunch’s trademark ululations, it’s typically rough going, but recommended for anyone who has trouble contending with an entire album’s worth of her clamor.
Notes: Tracks 1-6 originally released as "The Drowning Of Lucy Hamilton" (soundtrack to Richard Kern's "The Right Side Of My Brain" film). Tracks 7-12 originally released as "In Limbo". All "In Limbo" tracks composed by Lydia Lunch and Thurston Moore, except "Still Burning" (Rowland S.Howard) and "Some Boys" by Murray Mitchell. "The Drowning.."

Released in 1995, it is still one of the best spoken word/poetry CDs released since. She has help with the twelve tracks from musicians such as Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) and Lucy Hamilton. The tracks on the CD are beautiful, haunting and disturbing.
