De eerste zes nummers zijn de A- en B-kant van de drie cd-singles die in 1991 zijn uitgebracht voor hun laatste album Laughing Stock. Vier hiervan zijn versies van albumtracks, met toevoeging van de verder niet-verzamelde B-Sides "Stump" en "5:09". (zeldzaam album)

11 de feb. de 2007 · As an admittedly hardcore Talk Talk fan I totally understood and got the direction the band started going with Colour of Spring and Spirit of Eden with more sparse impressionistic tracks that bore little in common with their earlier more pop-based albums. By the time of Laughing Stock most fans had drifted off, failing to grasp where the band was going or what they were trying to achieve ...
Anfang der 80er erschien Talk Talk auf der Bildfläche und brachte es mit seinem intelligenten keyboardlastigen Pop zu einigen Hitsingles wie "Such A Shame", "It`s My Life" und Life`s What You Make It".

Dem Toningenieur, der einen derartig dumpf-verwischten Sound hervorbringt, würde man heute ganz schnell die Studiotür weisen.
