21 de mar. de 2024 · Oberlin Jazz Ensemble. The Oberlin Jazz Ensemble features primarily jazz performance majors, though some classical performance majors audition and perform with the group. They perform in Finney Chapel during the academic year and have appeared at college festivals throughout the United States.
The Oberlin Jazz Ensemble is composed of jazz as well as classical performance majors, the ensemble is a component in a four-year curriculum in jazz studies leading to a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in performance, composition, or both.

The concert will feature the performance and arrangements of Oberlin Jazz Studies alumnus Jake Silverman '14, a GRAMMY-winning arranger, jazz pianist, jazz organist, electronic musician, composer, and educator.
