But I don’t remember it and since we had never put anything together, I think it was really when we went to the Virgin Islands, the four of us together, that we started to sing together and said, “Wow, we’re genius!” (laughs).
Michelle Phillips, ursprungligen Holly Michelle Gilliam, född 4 juni 1944 i Long Beach, Kalifornien, är en amerikansk sångerska och skådespelare. Hon var medlem av gruppen The Mamas and the Papas 1965-1971. Hon var gift med gruppmedlemmen John Phillips mellan åren 1962 och 1970.
Michelle Phillips: He was driving a school bus at one point after working at Juvenile Hall, and it was covered with Mamas and Papas memorabilia. All of his kids on the bus knew exactly who I was because I was Gil’s daughter (laughs).
